PaperHatBoy: Adventures in Time
Game design has always been an interest of mine, and so when given an opportunity to pick a capstone project I settled on creating an education adventure game for the iphone and ipod touch using the Unity game engine.
My partner Stefanie Krajnyak and I decided to have a narrative based around time travel and then smaller minigame moments to teach various aspects of the scientific possibilities of time travel. It has been a joy to work on, with many new and interesting interactive and design challenges.
Louisville Airport in 10 Years
A redesign of the TSA at the Louisville Airport. We worked on a portable e-ink interface to help passengers as well as updated signage.
Epsonality
During my second three months at Big Spaceship I worked closely on the Epsonality project, helping with Flash production as well as a number of the animations on the site, from the scene to the thumbnail animations. I also helped edit the footage we had of the scientist and masked him out of the green screen, and passed the footage on to the head designer for implementation.
